
Alexander Talalai - dean of the faculty of geology and geophysics of the Ural state mining university, the head of the department of geophysics, doctor of geol.-min sc., professor.
Professional achievements: Graduated from the Sverdlovsk Mining Institute (1984) on the specialty "Geophysical methods of prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits". Specialist in the field of nuclear-geophysical methods for studying natural and technogenic objects.
The main works are devoted to the development of nuclear-geophysical methods of studying the natural and technogenic mineral deposits. For the first time in the Urals it was created an Agency for certification of mineral raw materials, products and their processing waste, accredited by the State standard of the RF.
