The main directions of his scientific research are: the study of mineralogy of ore facies of pyrite deposits, the creation of mineralogical and geochemical theory of lithogenesis of sulfide, iron-oxide and manganese metalliferous deposits of the pyrite-bearing hydrothermal fields of modern and ancient oceans.
