Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, professor, chief researcher of IGG UB RAS

His scentific interests are: geodynamics and metallogeny of orogenic systems. The reconstructions established that in the Timan-Ural segment of lithosphere the different-age geodynamic systems were integrated as a result of several cycles of decay and agglomeration of lithospheric plates. For the first time the independence of the Proterozoic Timan orogen was proved. On the base of consideration of geodynamic reconstructions a fundamentally new scheme of metallogenic elements for geodynamic systems has been developed.

NecheukhinV.M. is the author and co-author of 7 monographs, about 250 publications, including the 2 ones in foreign journals. He is also the author of 2 thematic maps.
