Berzin S.V. has been working at the Institute of Geology and Geochemistry since 2010 after graduating from the Master's program at UrSMU. In 2010-2013 he completed postgraduate course, in 2015 he defended his thesis on the topic "Ophiolite complexes of the southern part of the Middle Urals". Since 2011 he has been a member of the Russian Mineralogical Society. Since 2011 he has been a Scientific Secretary of the Ural Section of the Scientific Council on Tectonics and Geodynamics. In 2017-2022 Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the IGG UB RAS.
