Казахстанский (Казахско-Киргизский) палеоконтинент изучается многими исследователями. Авторы статьи провели анализ материалов, характеризующих тектоническое строение раннепалеозойского Кокчетау-Иссыккульского сиалического террейна, занимающего значительную часть территории Казахстанского континента.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Для определения палеоширотного положения Кокчетау-Иссыккульского террейна был проведен анализ данных, полученных при изучении ордовикских пород палеомагнитным методом на 11 участках. Был изучен палеомагнетизм красноцветных песчаников, алевролитов и туфоалевролитов а также базальтов, андезитов и туфогенных пород из морских отложений, принадлежность которых к различным ярусам ордовика основана на фауне трилобитов, брахиопод, граптолитов и конодонтов.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Раннепалеозойские породы обнажены на севере Кокчетау-Иссыккульского террейна в Кокчетауском районе, и на юге - в Иссыккуль-ском районе, который охватывает территории Южного Казахстана, Северного Кыргызстана и Западного Синьцзяна. Границами Кокчетау-Иссыккульского террейна служат сутуры Чистополь-Терскейского и Ирадыр-Илийского океанических бассейнов. Породы коры этих бассейнов находятся на территории Кокчетау-Иссыккульский террейна в аллохтонном залегании. На Терскейской окраине изучена многоэтажная система шарьяжей, сложенная допалеозойскими и раннепалеозойскими породами коры океанического бассейна, вулканитами океанических островных дуг и породами континентального склона. Эта система шарьяжей перекрыта отложениями с граптолитами флоского-дарривилского возраста. Надсубдукционный вулканизм на этой окраине террейна имеет дарривилский и сандбийский возраст, граниты I-типа - дарривилский возраст. На Илийской окраине Кокчетау-Иссыккульского террейна породы коры Ирадыр-Илийского океанического бассейна были шарьированы также в среднем ордовике, а надсубдукционный магматизм происходил в позднедарривилское и сандбийское время.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Проведенные исследования свидетельстуют о геодинамике региона. В раннем и среднем ордовике Кокчетау-Иссыккульский террейн был сиалической вулканической дугой, отделенной от других сиалических террейнов океаническими бассейнами. В среднем ордовике происходила встречная субдукция коры этих океанических бассейнов под Кокчетау-Иссыккульскую островную дугу. Этот процесс привел к закрытию Чистополь-Терскейского и Ирадыр-Илийского океанических бассейнов и к формированию Казахстанского континента путем коллизии раннепалеозойских си-алических террейнов и океанических островных дуг. Результаты изучения палеомагнетизма ордовикских пород Кокчетау-Иссыккульской островной дуги позволили определить положение средней части этой дуги на палеогеографической широте 9.1 ± 5.4°.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Research subject</title><p>Research subject. The Kazakhstan (Kazakh-Kyrgyz) paleocontinent attracts much research attention. In this article, we present data on the tectonic structure of the Early Paleozoic Kokchetau-Issykkul sialic terrain.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The geodynamic position of the Kokchetau-Issykkul terrain was determined by analysing samples of Ordovician rocks collected across 11 sites using the paleomagnetism method. Thus, we studied the paleomagnetism of red sandstones, siltstones, tuffaceous siltstones and basalts, as well as that of andesite and tuffaceous rocks in marine sediments, which affiliation to different Ordovician formations was established on the basis of trilobite, brachiopod, conodont and graptolite fauna.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Early Paleozoic rocks are exposed in the northern part of the studied terrain (Kokchetau district) and in the Issyk-Kul region, which covers southern Kazakhstan, northern Kyrgyzstan and western Xinjiang. The sutures of Chistopol-Terskei and Iradir-Ili ocean basins serving as the boundaries of the Kokchetau-Issykkul terrain are located in the allochthonius position. A multi-storey system of napes composed of pre-Paleozoic and Early Paleozoic rocks of the oceanic crust, volcanic oceanic island arcs and continental slope were studied near the Terskei margin of the terrain. This system of napes is covered by sediments containing graptolites of the Floian-Darriwilian age. Subduction-related volcanism near this margin of the terrain is of the Darriwilian and Sandbian age, while I-type granites are of the Darriwilian age. The over-thrusting of the Iladyr-Ili oceanic crust on the Ili border of the terrain also occurred in the middle Ordovician. Subduction-related mag-matism occurred here in the Late Darriwilian and Sandbian periods.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The conducted studies testify to the geodynamics of the region. In the Early and Middle Ordovician, the Kokchetau-Issykkul terrain was a sialic volcanic arc separated from other sialic terrains by ocean basins. In the Middle Ordovician, the counter subduction of the oceanic crust under the Kokchetau-Issykkul island arc occurred. This process led to the closure of the Chistopol-Terskei and Iradir-Ili ocean basins in Middle Ordovician and to the formation the Kazakhstan continent by the collision of the Early Paleozoic sialic terrains and oceanic island arcs.
